Styx River Tube and Canoe Rental offers complete round trip services for your float trip enjoyment. You simply park at our office located on the banks of the beautiful Styx river. We will pick you up at your car and transport you upstream to the start of your trip where your rental canoe and tubes will be waiting for you.  After starting your trip go as fast or as slow as you like. Styx River offers many sandbars and great swimming spots.  Your trip will end back at your car. Simply leave your rental canoe and tubes on the sandbar and walk the 50 feet to the parking lot and your car.

For the 2007 season, Styx River Tube & Canoe Rental is open 7 days a week through Labor day.

Styx River is a beautiful river with crystal clear water, a sandy bottom and plenty of sandbars for picnicking. The winding slow current takes you through primitive rural landscapes and has ideal fishing, swimming and picnic areas.

Driving Directions

From Pensacola

Take I-10 west to Exit 53 - County Road 64/Wilcox Rd. Turn right onto Wilcox Rd and take an immediate right onto Waterworld Rd. This will take you right in front of Alabama Fireworks World. Continue traveling on Waterworld rd until it turns into a dirt road. Continue on Waterworld Rd for about another mile. At the end of the road you will take a left onto the paved entrance to Styx River Canoe & Tube Rental.

From Mobile

Take 1-10 east to Exit 53 - County Road 64/Wilcox Rd. Turn left onto Wilcox Rd, go over I-10 and take an immediate right onto Waterworld Rd. This will take you right in front of Alabama Fireworks World. Continue traveling on Waterworld rd until it turns into a dirt road. Continue on Waterworld Rd for about another mile.
